This entry level trick is a must learn. Although most pros hardly use
it, the balance points is a key building block to flatland. The key is
giving the frame a good hard kick. Kick it hard enough and you won't
have to balance long. Once you kick it momentum kicks in. If
your bike goes forward a little, just pull it back. Land on the frame.
It helps to position your pedals. Land on the top tube, and pedal away
with the other foot. Front brakes help make it easier, but once you
get the hang of it you won't need brakes. Once you get it down, learn
to jump over the frame and do a double tailwhip. This video shows Tim
and Mike doing them a couple different ways, at a couple different angles,
and a slow motion as well. |
